床の表面、絵画、ジョリス＝カルル・ユイスマン著『さかしま』の装飾されたカメの甲羅。
地表の弧はまるでカメの甲羅だ。その内側だけでなく、張り巡らさた神経と、地表プレートを指の爪のように保護している。
カメの甲羅は一見すると一枚の覆いのようだ。まるでラミネートのように。しかしその曲線は極めて複雑な組み合わせによってつくられている。脊椎、骨盤、肋骨、ウロコからなる背甲。
水平な畳の表面には中断が宿る
甲羅干して石にまぎれて横たわるカメ
二次元の思考は三次元で立ち上がり（概念としても物理的にも）ふたたび精神の二次元世界へともどる。
革命は訪れては去りゆく
世界は別のものとなる。しわがれてまっ平に。

The surface of a floor, a painting, the gemstoned shell turtle in Joris-Karl Huysmans' À rebours (Against Nature/Against the Grain)
The curved surface of the world is like a turtle shell, protecting its inside but also a system of nerves, and plates like fingernails.
Despite the raised curve of a shell being able to be read as flat covering, like a laminex, the turtle's shell is a complex and structurally a curve made up of vertebrae, pelvis, ribcage, and the carapace made up of scutes.
Horizontally the surface of the tatami mats has moments of interruption.
Turtles blend in with rocks sunning themselves.
The 2 dimensions of a thought come alive in 3D (actual and conceptual) and blend back into the 2D of the mind.
Revolutions come and go.
Worlds become other worlds, scrunched up, and flattened.
Turtles wander slowly along the road, their comrades painted over with white lines.
